NarraSoft’s Approach to Corporate Responsibility

Our VP of Business Units, Welnee Butterfield, obtained her degree with the assistance of a French non-profit organization called Passerelle Numeriques. They helped support her scholarship program throughout her college years at the University of San Carlos. As someone who didn't have the privilege of financial means, being in a scholarship program and studying in a reputable school served as her pathway to success. As a result, she became an advocate for the organization which lead to a partnership with NarraSoft, which has been supporting underprivileged students' scholarships since 2019.

Although the concept of NarraCares was inspired by Welnee's story, NarraSoft was still in the growth phase and could only take limited actions. However, since early 2020, NarraSoft's growth has accelerated at an extraordinary pace and has provided us with sufficient resources to make philanthropy and corporate giving an official part of our organization. This idea resurfaced when one of our colleagues adopted a stray kitten found during our company retreat at a resort.
